Building on the massive success of Zuma, Rainer and Arjun acquired the site for their second restaurant, ‘ROKA and Shochu Lounge’ back in 2004.
Once again, Super Potato, particularly Noriyoshi Muramatsu, is behind ROKA and Shochu’s sleek Japanese interior. The restaurant name ROKA is derived from two words: Robata (RO), which is a place where everyone gathers to enjoy a meal in a sociable atmosphere; and (KA) which stands for a burning fire, heat, and warmth projecting energy and creating a welcoming social buzz.
